ABOUT KAMCAO

The KAMCAO Team mainly consists of a good line of friends and family. The team comprises artists influenced by manga-styled drawings on different genres. The members ranged from high school students, college students, to working adults.

KAMCAO stands for Kawaii Anime Manga Creative Artists & Otaku(s) which is what the team wants to portray! For those who are still new to Japanese words, kawaii means cute or adorable, whilst the word otaku is used to describe obsessive enthusiastic addicts who just can’t get enough of anime, manga and games.

KAMCAO is a great platform for its members to educate the public on what anime and manga is and how the industry can benefit the artists and readers alike; not just locally but also internationally. In addiction, it is a great medium to expose our local customs and culture to others around the world.

    command controls lawl

    Sorry for the lack of updates on this site~ ~sakura0104, who mainly manages the site 's before has put KAMCAO management works under my command temporarily because she'll be focusing on University for the next 3 years ( ;´3` ) She'll be back so no worries~! So meanwhile, yoroshiku~! <3

    Next Event Appearence!

    The Next Convention we'll be at will be AniManGaki 2009. We'll be selling our usuals like the Art books, badges and on the spot sketches so please do join us if you can! Details are as follow <3:

    Venue:
    4th Floor, Multipurpose Hall, Sunway University College, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
    Date: 27th - 28th June 2009
    Time: 10 AM - 6 PM

    New Activities + Products

    Yeap, you got that right~! ;D Which is also another one of the reason for our absences the past month (or year haha)(>▽<;; ) This year, we'll be printing our First Ever Manga Compilation Album!! WOOT!! YEAH!! It will be a compilation of mangas from various artists in KAMCAO like ~toraMizu, ~HeisT-HeX and featuring KAMCAO mascots' official manga; Le Noir Pain de Miette. It will feature our mascots, Rui & Yui as the main characters and also the debut of a new mascot!! With collaborative art from myself, ~reryu and ~sakura0104 and also story by the whole KAMCAO team, be sure not to miss out on it!! I'll see if I can post up WIPs of the manga and character designs here so stay tuned ;D

    Last but not least, on behalf of KAMCAO, we'd like to thank everyone for the support!! Keep em coming!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS TO PIECES though you guysmay not believe it lawl
